After the ISIS attack on Sinjar in 2014, thousands of Yazidis were displaced from their homes, fleeing mass violence, abductions, and targeted persecution. Many sought safety in camps across northern Iraq. A decade later, a large number of Yazidi families continue to live in these temporary shelters, facing difficult living conditions and uncertain prospects for return. Their prolonged displacement remains one of the most enduring humanitarian challenges in post-conflict Iraq.
